Halloween Sort and Switch

How to play together

Each card shows an animal or a Halloween character in a costume, and each basket shows what belongs in it. Your child drags the card to the right basket, or taps the basket. First the baskets sort by who it is. Then they flip and sort by costume, so the same card now belongs in the other basket. Say the new rule out loud when the baskets flip. The characters and costumes change every few cards. On Low each new pair is sorted by who it is first, then by costume. On High either rule can come first and it changes every two cards. Children under four often keep sorting the old way; that is normal, and the hints will help.
