Ice Cream Scoop Count

How to play together

Each animal has a number by its ear: that is how many scoops of ice cream it wants. Your child drags scoops from the counter onto each cone until every animal has the right number. The counter holds exactly enough for everyone, and a cone that is full will not take another. Count out loud together as each scoop lands, then point back at the number. Low has two animals wanting up to three scoops each, with dotted spaces on the cone to count into. High has three animals wanting up to four, and no dotted spaces, so the number is all there is to go on.
