Five stepping stones cross the pond, from the bank at the bottom to the bank at the top, and one has no number. Count up the stones together, touching each one, and stop at the gap. Your child taps the lily pad with the missing number, then the animal hops over every stone to the far side: count each hop aloud. The game has no voice, so say the numbers for them. Low counts up in ones, as far as 10. High counts backwards, or up in twos, as far as 20.
